Job summary

SURESTAFF is hiring an Assembler in Surprise, AZ to put together pre-manufactured or purchased parts into products and prepare them for transfer to distribution. The role offers a competitive $15.15/hr.

with health insurance including medical, dental, and vision, and a first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm (Mon-Fri) with a 25-cent raise after 30 days. The Assembler will perform packing, labeling, inspection, and operation of packaging machinery, while maintaining accurate production and inventory

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assembles boxes, pallets, and labels, etc. to receive finished goods.
• Inspects and performs minor repairs such as trimming flash or cutting gates, applies labels to products retrieved from the machines or material handling equipment.
• Assembles parts to form products, pre-manufactured bulk packed parts into finished goods for sale.
• Packs products into boxes for sale or case packs products according to instructions provided.
• Operates manual shrink machine by checking oven temperatures, selecting correct size bag, and hand sealing the bag.
• Operates the auto machine by checking the oven temperatures, feeding the product onto the conveyor belt, and completing roll changes.
• Operates packaging equipment such as the taping machine.
• Properly accounts for all products by completing necessary paperwork so production and inventory results can be accurately reported.
