Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Plasterer for the Division of Facilities Planning & Management. This role involves applying, removing, and repairing plaster on walls and ceilings across campus, ensuring safe, operable facilities and upholding historic preservation standards.

You will join a large team of trades workers dedicated to customer service and campus safety. Working full-time, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of a registered apprenticeship program approved by the Department of Workforce Development OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Professional communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled plastering work according to established trade standards and codes.
• Reviews finished projects with client/customer; maintains records and reports.
• Cleans work area after completion of projects and maintains equipment.
