University of Missouri - Columbia is hiring a BTS Plasterer to perform journey-level plastering on walls and ceilings, install lath and framework, and finish drywall as part of Campus Facilities Operations. The role requires four years in the trade and proficiency with plastering techniques.

The position operates 7:30 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with a salary in the $23.00–$25.50 per hour range. A Missouri driver’s license is preferred, and comprehensive university benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journey level with at least four years in the trade, including apprenticeship or vocational training.
• Knowledge of maintenance and use of trade tools, equipment and materials.
• Good physical health and ability to lift and work on ladders/scaffolding.
• Driver's license may be required for some positions.
• Respirator use may be required per Industrial Standard.

Responsabilités

• Install lath and framework; plaster walls and ceilings; apply coats and finishes.
• Patch plaster to fill cracks and holes and match surface.
• Finish drywall seams; tape, apply coats and sand to finish.
• Move and cover furniture, set up scaffolding, tear out walls, mix plaster; clean site.
• Fabricate or install decorative plaster pieces; may use spraying equipment.
• Assist with cost estimates, material orders, reports and records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
