Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group, including Tremco CPG Inc.’s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions, is seeking a Plasterer to apply base and finish grade coatings to EIFS Federlite panels and pre-base coated shapes in an indoor manufacturing facility in Coppell, TX.

The role involves meshing, cutting, sanding, hand coating with a trowel, and other fabrication duties; reports to the Production Supervisor and follows planned production targets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EIFS systems is a plus.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Spray or roll on air/water barriers.
• Mix basecoat/adhesive material.
• Apply fiberglass mesh.
• Follow the daily production schedule set by the Production Supervisor.
• Hand applies adhesive mesh to parts.
• Mix base coats and finish with electric drill and paddle.
• Work as part of a team to run parts through extrusion equipment.
• Use a trowel and comparable tools to apply base and finish coats.
• Trim parts with cutting equipment.
• Complete final sanding and touch-up of parts.
• Assist in building custom crates based on project specifications.
• Prepare and organize parts for shipment.
• Assist with shipping and receiving.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Clean equipment after use and assists team in keeping production space clean and organized.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Plasterer is responsible for applying base and finished grade coatings to EIFS Federlite panels and pre-base coated shapes for use on job sites. This role will also effectively cover meshing, cutting, sanding, hand coating with trowel, and all other fabrication duties within the Panel operations business. This individual will report directly to the Production Supervisor and work based off planned production targets. This position is based indoors of a manufacturing facility.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of EIFS Systems a Plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $22.66 and $27.99. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
