Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Production Assembler to perform tasks such as producing architectural shapes, EIFS wall components, and exterior panel systems in a fast-paced environment.

No formal educational requirement and no prior experience or training needed; the position offers an hourly wage with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, holidays, PTO and a 401(k) with company match.

• Hand applies adhesive mesh to parts.
• Mixes base coats and finishes with electric tools including drills, paddles, mixers, pumps, etc.
• Works as part of a team to run parts through extrusion equipment.
• Trowels base coats and finishes.
• Safely operates foam compactor or other related equipment.
• Trims parts with cutting equipment (hand and power tools).
• Completes final sanding and touch up of parts.
• Assists in building custom crates based on project specifications.
• Prepares and organizes parts for shipment.
• Assists with shipping and receiving.
• Follows all workplace standards and safety requirements.
• Participates in required training.
• Cleans equipment after use and assists team in keeping production space clean and organized.
• Assists with monthly inventory counts.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Production Assembler performs assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to, producing architectural shapes, EIFS wall components, and exterior panel systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows the daily production schedule.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $15.85 to $18.98. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
