Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. in Eldorado, PA is seeking a Processing Technician to help turn plasma donations into life-saving therapies. You will handle aseptic sampling, heat sealing, and storage while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring temperatures, processing plasma per cGMP and SOPs, maintaining records, and supporting shipping, inventory, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete aseptic sampling and heat sealing of plasma units and store in freezers per timeframes.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report deviations.
• Process plasma and samples according to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain product safety and integrity during processing, storage, and shipment.
• Perform centrifugation, labeling, inspection, and classification of products.
• Prepare, calibrate, and verify equipment maintenance as scheduled.
• Manage product packing, inventory, and freezer organization for efficiency.
• Control disposition of unsuitable products with complete documentation.
• Prepare and verify shipments according to SOPs.
• Receive and inventory incoming supplies and keep storage area organized.
• Identify released units daily and stage them for shipment.
• Maintain accurate records and data integrity in all processing activities.
• Follow unidirectional flow procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Keep processing area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Answer calls professionally and transfer as needed.
• Support production goals while addressing donor questions clearly.
