Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Processing Technician to handle plasma processing, sampling, and storage while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your meticulous work will influence the quality of life-saving therapies for patients globally.

In this role, you will perform aseptic sampling, monitor temperatures, and ensure accurate records, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete aseptic sampling and heat sealing of plasma units and freezer storage.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures.
• Process plasma per cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain product safety and integrity during processing, storage, and shipment.
• Perform centrifugation, labeling, inspection, and classification.
• Prepare, calibrate, and verify equipment maintenance.
• Manage packing, inventory, and freezer organization.
• Control the disposition of unsuitable products with complete documentation.
• Prepare and verify shipments.
• Receive and inventory supplies; keep storage area clean.
• Identify released units and stage for shipment.
• Maintain records and data integrity.
• Follow unidirectional flow to prevent cross-contamination.
• Keep processing area clean and stocked.
• Answer calls professionally.
• Support production goals while assisting donor questions.
