Job summary

Lifeshare Blood Center is seeking a Processing Technician at its Pelican Plasma center in Shreveport, LA. This position involves the accurate sampling and processing of plasma, adhering to strict SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Starting pay is $14/hr with a comprehensive benefits package including free medical, life, disability insurance, and paid time off. Candidates must have a high school diploma and preferably experience in a lab or warehouse environment.

Physical demands include lifting supplies up to 50 lbs and working flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of computer equipment and software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor information.

Responsibilities

• Accurate sampling, testing, storage, and shipping of plasma.
• Proper storage of donated plasma units in accordance with SOPs.
• Monitor temperatures of storage units and perform calibrations.
