Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Plasma Center Technician to assist with collection, handling, and storage of donor plasma. You will ensure accurate labeling, sterile technique, and proper documentation while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months of lab or warehouse experience, with potential bilingual requirements and overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the discretion of the organization, to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to the freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs.
• Verify labeling accuracy against dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and ensure sterility and quality per SOPs.
• May pack and ship samples and units and prepare shipping documentation.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and report variances.
• Conduct daily equipment calibration as per SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow OSHA/HSE policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
