Plasma / Oxyfuel Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Location: Houston, TX 77039

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Client requires an experienced Plasma/OxyFuel operator to run a 10' by 40' table with 4 oxyfuel torches and 1x 400 HPRD XD plasma torch. The controller is Hypertherm HedgePro. Must have 2-3 years of experience operating this type of machine and controller.

Duties:

1. Operate the machine safely and accurately to cut steel according to shop orders.
2. Load and unload materials on and off the table. Document plate inventory used for tracking purposes.
3. Read shop orders and drawings. Basic math skills and measurement reading ability required.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience operating plasma/Oxyfuel machines with Hypertherm HedgePro controller.
• Bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
• Dependable and punctual, able to attend work daily.
