Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Plasma Material Handling Associate for a prominent client. The position focuses on receiving plasma, managing inventory, and ensuring CGMP compliance at the Plasma Logistics Center.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, sorting plasma types, entering receipts in the Plasma Management System, and using RFT equipment to track movements in freezer and warehouse locations. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
• Able to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for plasma operations at the Plasma Logistics Center, receiving raw materials and controlling flow until shipment for fractionation; operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Support Supply Chain related projects and provide guidance to peers; responsible for controlling raw material inventory throughout receipt, classification, and distribution.
• Unload plasma shipments, identify and sort plasma types, and enter receipts into the Plasma Management System (SGP).
• Inspect equipment for damage and determine suitability for use in production (crates, pallets).
• Use Radio Frequency Terminal (RFT) equipment to control and monitor inventory movements within freezer and warehouse locations.
• Locate plasma by verifying and pulling material from freezer work orders.
• Identify and remove unsuitable plasma units from production units and consolidated lots.
• Assist Classification area by managing plasma that is rejected or relocated from the inspection line.
• Maintain CGMP compliance by ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.

Contract: 1 year with possible extension and/or conversion

Job Description

• Serve as the point of contact for plasma operations at the Plasma Logistics Center where the incumbent receives raw materials (plasma) from donor centers and controls the flow of materials until they are sent for fractionation, using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• SupportSupply Chain related projects and provides guidance to peers. Responsible for controlling raw material inventory throughout receipt, classification, and distribution.
• Responsible to unload plasma shipments, identify and sort types of plasma, and enter receipts into the Plasma Management System (SGP).
• Inspect equipment for damage and determine suitability for further use in production (crates, pallets).
• Use Radio Frequency Terminal (RFT) equipment to control and monitor the movements of inventory within all freezer and warehouse locations.
• Locate plasma by verifying and pulling material from freezer work orders.
• Identify and remove unsuitable plasma units from processed production units (PU’s) and consolidated lots.
• Assist Classification area by managing plasma that is rejected or relocated from the inspection line.
• Responsible for maintaining CGMP compliance by insuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
