Job summary

Quantum Computing Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Equipment Technician – Plasma Processes to support plasma etch and deposition tools in a thin-film wafer fab.

You will work with equipment and process engineers to maximize uptime, process stability, and production throughput in a cleanroom environment. The role requires an associate degree or technical diploma in electronics or related field and 3+ years of hands-on maintenance in semiconductor or photonics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma or equivalent training in electronics, mechatronics or automation.
• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance in semiconductor, photonics or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibrations on plasma etch and deposition systems (PECVD, ICP, RIE, IBE).
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, vacuum, and RF subsystems.
• Assist with startup, qualification and recovery procedures to maximize uptime and process control.
• Respond to tool alarms and process deviations to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance logs, fault records, and part histories.
