Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Medical Screener to join our plasma donation team. You will greet donors, perform health screens, take vital signs, and support the plasmapheresis process in a compliant, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience; healthcare, retail, or plasma/blood collection setting preferred.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors with accurate data entry.
• Guide donors through health screening and determine need for medical review.
• Perform vital signs and fingerstick sampling to measure hematocrit and protein.
• Prepare and calibrate screening equipment per SOPs; troubleshoot as needed.
• Monitor donor safety and report adverse reactions to medical staff.
• Explain donation process, policies, and safety guidelines clearly.
• Maintain donor records and ensure regulatory compliance (cGMP, etc.).
• Operate internal systems per approved guidelines; update supply lot numbers.
• Support plasmapheresis by preparing collection machines and assisting with disconnections.
