Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasma center specialist responsible for verifying donor eligibility, collecting plasma, and processing products while adhering to strict SOPs and safety standards.

You will monitor donor conditions, operate plasmapheresis equipment, maintain quality control, and keep meticulous records to ensure donor safety and product quality, with a focus on patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of clerical or customer service experience preferred.
• Certification or licensing per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high levels of customer service and donor confidentiality.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments (vitals, protein testing).
• Set up and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms.
• Perform plasma collection and processing with proper sample handling and shipments.
• Monitor temperatures of freezers/refrigerators and document variances.
• Keep donor center clean and safe; proper waste disposal.
• Perform quality control on equipment and keep accurate records.
• Provide oversight of product safety and collection ratios; respond to adverse events.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and conduct routine QC checks.
