Job summary

CSL in Tulsa, OK seeks a qualified healthcare professional to support donor screening in our plasma center. Under supervision, you evaluate donor suitability for pheresis and provide basic emergency medical care as licensed.

You interview donors, review medical histories, and interpret test results to determine ongoing suitability. You escalate critical cases to the Center Physician and refer donors for follow-up as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare experience
• Experience in plasma or whole blood collection center preferred
• For NY: current state licensure or reciprocal certification as RN/MD/DO

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff per licensure
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews
• Respond to medically related questions and advise staff on donor suitability
• Review test results to determine continued donor suitability
• Counsel donors regarding reactive test results and refer to community facilities
• Provide routine care following SOPs and escalate critical medical situations to Center Physician or local medical providers
