Job summary

Machitech is seeking a Plasma Field Technician to install CNC plasma machines across North America, train operators, and provide on-site technical support. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure customers' systems run at peak performance.

The role requires a technical diploma, strong English communication, and willingness to travel regularly. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver reliable, high-quality service across Canada and the United

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
Experience with plasma cutting processes is an asset.
Experience with CNC systems is an asset.
Good computer skills (diagnostics, industrial software, system configuration).
Valid driver's license and travel availability.
Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Perform the installation process of new machines, including commissioning and customer training, throughout North America.
Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment.
Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites.
Adjust and operate machines according to production requirements.
Complete and submit service reports.
Assist internal plant teams and technical support when required.
Perform any other related tasks as needed.
