Machitech is seeking a Laser Field Technician to report to the Senior Technical Manager, Plasma-Robot. You will install CNC plasma machines across Canada and/or the United States and train operators.

You will respond to service calls, provide on-site technical support, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment, and complete service reports. Travel is required; excellent English communication is essential for interactions with customers across North America.

Qualifications

• Trade or college diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or electromechanics.
• Experience with plasma cutting processes is an asset.
• Experience with CNC systems is an asset.
• Strong English communication, spoken and written.
• Valid driver''s license and willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, and train customers on CNC plasma machines across North America.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Adjust and operate machines per production requirements.
• Complete and submit service reports.
• Support internal plant teams and technical staff as needed.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
