Job summary

Machitech is seeking a Plasma Field Technician to install CNC plasma machines across North America and provide on-site training and support. The role includes commissioning, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at customer sites, with regular travel and collaboration with the Senior Technical Manager, Plasma-Robot.

Ideal candidates hold a DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology or a DEP in Electromechanics, with CNC experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• English communication required, both spoken and written.
• Travel availability for regular site visits across North America.
• Experience with plasma cutting processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install CNC plasma machines, including commissioning and customer training across North America.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair equipment and systems onsite.
• Adjust and operate plasma machines per production requirements.
• Complete and submit detailed service reports after each visit.
• Assist internal teams and technical support as needed.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
