BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician. The role emphasizes high-quality care and compliance with plasma collection regulations.

You will support vaccination programs, handle donor notifications, and assist with center operations in a fast-paced environment, contributing to safety and service excellence.

Qualificações

• Active state license as RN/NP/PA where responsibilities are assigned.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Fulfills state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training is required.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical exam.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Coordinate with EHS for occupational health matters and incident investigations.
