Qualifications

• Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including medical history interview and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions according to SOPs.
• Manage employee incidents and evaluate if further action is required.

Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Licensed LPN or LVN

Current CPR and AED certification

Basic IV therapy knowledge

Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Education

Graduate from a recognized educational nursing program
