Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is looking for a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Houston, TX to oversee donor eligibility and manage medical emergencies. Candidates must be licensed RN, NP, or PA and have at least two years of clinical experience.

The position offers an hourly wage of $24.32 – $33.44, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and tuition reimbursement. Open availability between 2 PM and 10 PM is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and conduct medical history interviews.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies according to SOPs.
• Refer medical issues to the Center Physician as needed.
