Job summary

A plasma services provider is seeking a Plasma Center Nurse to screen and advise donors, manage donor eligibility, and support center operations. Responsibilities include evaluating donor reactions during medical emergencies and coordinating with the Center Physician. Candidates should have a nursing license and CPR certification, and at least two years of clinical experience. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate donor reactions and follow medical emergency SOPs.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and advise donors on eligibility and medical history.
• Manage adverse events and coordinate with Center Physician.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs.

Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Current nursing license or certification

Current CPR and AED certification

State compliance with basic IV therapy

Completion of FDA training

Clinical or hospital experience

Education

Graduate equivalency in recognized nursing program
