BioLife Plasma Services in Flint, MI, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support center operations, donor screening, and safety. You will verify eligibility, review test results, and guide donor care under medical supervision.

Formación

• State license as LPN or LVN is required.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent nursing program completion.
• FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training completed.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, education, and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings or guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage occupational health incidents and coordinate with EHS when needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator if authorized and assist investigations.
