Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to ensure donor safety and plasma collection quality. You will review donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, and liaise with physicians for medical guidance.

The role emphasizes adherence to regulatory standards and center-level EHS support. Expect to collaborate with Center Manager, perform as a clinical liaison, and participate in environmental, health, and safety initiatives while supporting ongoing donor

Qualifications

• Current EMT licensure in applicable state per responsibilities.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy where licensure applies.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unusual findings.
• Support vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance.
