Job summary

Quad West Allis is seeking a Plasma Table Operator to turn raw metal into precision parts on CNC plasma cutting equipment. First shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency to drive production forward.

You will set up, operate, and maintain plasma tables, program cutting instructions, and ensure parts meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
• Certification—or willingness to become certified—to operate powered industrial vehicles, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Remove rough edges and ensure a clean, finished appearance.
• Maintain production and quality inspection records.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Participate in team meetings and training.

Job Description

Turn raw metal into precision parts that keep production moving. Quad is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plasma & Burn Table Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC plasma cutting equipment while ensuring every part meets our quality standards. In this role, you’ll combine technical skill, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety to produce accurate cuts, troubleshoot equipment, and finish parts for delivery to the next stage of production. First shift Monday through Friday 7A.M.- 3:30 P.M.
