Job summary

AGCO is seeking a Planter Platform Product Manager to own the roadmap and lifecycle of the planter platforms, ensuring alignment with brand strategies, market needs, and future technology integrations. You will work closely with Crop Care & Agronomy PM teams and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and commercial functions to deliver cohesive platform solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, agronomy, business management or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Module Strategy roles.
• Industry experience in agriculture, construction, heavy‑duty vehicles, or automotive powertrain systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle (NPI & CPM) for Planter platforms.
• Manage platform roadmaps balancing modularity, scalability and cost.
• Collaborate with Solution Systems PMs to deliver platform contributions to integrated solutions.
• Translate VOC insights into feature prioritization, investment roadmaps, and platform requirements.
• Collaborate with customer support to understand platform field performance.
• Work onsite at Beloit KS, Hesston KS or Jackson MN to align with AGCO teams.
