Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead LV/HV harness design for large battery systems. You will drive the mechanical architecture, wire harness routing, connector selection, and 2D/3D drawings in collaboration with Mechanical and Electrical teams.

You will oversee design for harsh environments, work with suppliers and internal teams, and help shape standards for wire harnesses in Form Energy’s multi-day battery applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of harness mechanical design experience.
• Experience with battery and high voltage systems.
• Familiarity with GD&T and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop LV & HV harness design from concept through production.
• Lead cross-functional alignment between Mechanical, Electrical, Sensor, Harness, Structural, Assembly and Supply Chain teams.
• Identify, evaluate, select, and procure harness components for high-volume production.
• Create 3D routing in CAD and generate final assembly drawings for fabrication.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams to bring 3D designs to physical product.
