Elemental Enzymes seeks a Research Technician I to assist in validation and formulation development for biological molecules affecting plant health and nutrition. This role focuses on controlled environment plant trials and assays to evaluate efficacy and mode of action.

You will work with a multidisciplinary R&D team, report to a Research Scientist, and contribute to sustainable, biological solutions in agriculture while maintaining detailed records and data analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, biochemistry, plant sciences, or closely related field.
• Proven ability to execute experiments in a laboratory.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Execution of plant trials in controlled environments to validate efficacy, test compatibility, and support claims for biological molecules.
• Conduct routine laboratory experiments using microbiological, molecular, biochemical, and plant-based analytical methods.
• Maintain detailed records using a digital notebook and trial management systems.
• Support trial evaluation using statistical analysis tools and data presentation templates.
• Communicate research progress to internal stakeholders.
• Assist in development and amendment of study protocols and data collection tools.
• Help maintain facilities and materials according to the C.A.R.E mission.
