Job summary

Alpine Silica, a PF Holdings company, operates facilities in key U.S. oil and gas regions and provides frac sand products.

The Plant Utility role covers day-to-day duties to keep operations safe, efficient, and the site clean, while adhering to our safety program and working as a contributing team member.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Able to read, speak and write English.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather.
  • Must work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Be cognizant of safety requirements and attend safety meetings.
  • Shovel, sweep, and monitor work areas.
  • Operate and service small equipment and power tools.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on equipment and maintain site housekeeping.
  • Notify supervisor of any required maintenance or work.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job description

Alpine Silica, a PF Holdings company based in Willow Park, TX, operates advanced facilities in key U.S. oil and gas regions like Haynesville, Eagle Ford, and Permian Basins. It produces frac sand and provides in-basin solutions to enhance efficiency for top oil and gas producers.

The Plant Utility position is responsible for day-to-day duties needed to complete work in a safe and timely fashion and maintain a clean work site. This position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Be cognizant of and adhere to safety requirements
  • Participate in all safety meetings
  • Shoveling, sweeping, and monitoring
  • Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment
  • Must understand or have familiarity with all power and small tools
  • Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment
  • Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping
  • Ensure safety fences, markings, berms are all in place
  • Notify supervisor and/or maintenance of any required work to be done
  • Performs other related duties as required
Other Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Mental and Physical Requirements
  • Able to read, speak and write English
  • Able to work under stressful conditions at times
  • Work performed in a plant environment
  • Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside
  • Regularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. or more
  • Frequently required to walk on unleveled ground
  • Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication
  • Dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities
  • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things
  • Able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats when needed
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, and move about the facility
  • May be sensitive to confidential information
  • Must work independently and as a member of a team
