Job summary

Darling Ingredients is a global leader in turning animal by‑products into valuable ingredients, with a focus on safety and sustainability. A Utility Worker supports loading/unloading raw materials and finished products, and helps keep plant and equipment clean and compliant with FSMS.

You will operate production-related machinery, move products between storage and work areas, inspect products for quality, and assist with packaging and disposal according to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a clean MVR.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operates machinery used in production process or assists machine operators.
• Places products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting and wrapping.
• Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Starts machines or equipment to begin production processes.
• Observes equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notifies supervisor or maintenance.
