Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Utility Worker to support production operations in our plant.

The role involves loading and unloading raw materials and finished products, keeping machinery and work areas clean, and ensuring safety standards are followed to maintain a smooth production flow. Typical duties include operating or assisting with production equipment, inspecting products for quality, and moving materials between storage and processing areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with clean MVR.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operates machinery used in production processes or assists machine operators.
• Places products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing and inspection.
• Observes equipment to detect malfunctions and notifies supervisor or maintenance.
• Lifts raw materials, finished products and packed items manually.
• Transfers products between storage and work areas, using forklift when needed.
• Maintains safety in accordance with company rules and regulations.
