GSK in Marietta, GA seeks a Mechanical Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot clean and utility systems at the vaccine facility. The role requires rotating On-call shifts, holidays, and weekends, with potential overtime and cross-task assignments as needed.
You will handle piping, boilers, water systems, instrumentation, and CMMS-based maintenance, documenting work orders and logs, and advancing safety and GMP compliance across utilities operations.

To operate, maintain, and troubleshoot clean and raw utilities used for the operation of the Marietta Vaccine Facility and supporting infrastructure. Position will require employees to work in a rotational On-call schedule. This schedule will include holidays and weekends; overtime may be required. Position may require working on other tasks (as assigned by management or as needed) outside the Utilities function, independently or with other crafts as needed.

Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders); the ability to safely install rigging/lifting devices; the ability to work around loud equipment, on elevated work surfaces, in confined spaces and in inclement weather.
