Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Supervisor to direct and supervise the fabrication, modification, installation, startup, and maintenance of plant support equipment at the Thomson Facility.

The role oversees HVAC, steam, compressed air, water treatment and grounds, coordinates with vendors, trains personnel, and drives TPM and safe work practices. The shift is 8 hours non-rotating; Shaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to plan, organize and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC, steam, compressed air, water treatment, and grounds systems.
• Coordinate with vendors on maintenance performed on equipment.
• Provide input to Plant Engineer for modification and/or procurement of equipment.
• Conduct proficiency training for personnel.
• Supervise maintenance personnel, manage attendance and discipline.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available to complete maintenance and installation requirements.
