Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Process Operator-Utilities to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment, monitor production from control systems, and ensure product quality. The role includes loading/unloading materials, managing inventories, and collaborating with teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work various shifts, and willingness to learn additional duties. SAP experience and forklift certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Able to safely perform duties as required.
• Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills to share information with peers and leaders.
• Demonstrate good decision-making and communication skills.
• Computer literate and SAP experience a plus.
• Able to develop and apply mechanical/problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Food Safety a plus.
• Forklift experience, a plus or ability to get forklift certification, required

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanized equipment safely and within specifications.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and fix equipment issues.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Monitor operations from control room or computers as applicable.
• Sample and test products.
• Prepare railcars and trucks and load/unload materials.
• Pack, inspect, and dump bags, totes, sacks or drums.
• Fill tanks or transfer product as needed.
• Perform physically demanding tasks and maintain inventory.
• Handle movement of chemicals as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as required.
