Job summary

Hubbard is seeking a Utility Operator to run and maintain production equipment for animal feed and supplements. You will monitor the line, perform routine checks, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires ability to lift up to 55 pounds, pass a post-offer physical, and work shifts. You will follow SOPs for mixing, bagging, and drying processes and collaborate with the team to meet quality targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in feed, grain or supplement processing or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work any shift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production line efficiency to ensure timely loading and shipping.
• Be a reliable team member with prompt attendance and strong performance.
• Communicate with team and leadership to improve processes.
• Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.
• Strictly follow safety guidelines throughout the facility.
• Operate processes per SOPs, including mixing, bagging, spray drying, fluid bed drying and powered lift equipment.

They ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently, while adhering to safety and quality standards. The Utility Operator also performs routine checks on the equipment and reports any issues to the maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality animal feed and supplements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment.

• Performing all processes in accordance with all Standard Operating Procedures, including the operation of mixing, bagging, spray drying, fluid bed drying and powered lift equipment.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in feed, grain or supplement processing or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work any shift preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically able to operate motor vehicle and forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50-55 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to wear a respirator (in some designated areas)
• Must past post-offer physical and drug screenAbility to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperature and noise levels.
