Job summary

The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is seeking a Plant Utilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations at OCOTILLO Water Reclamation Facility and Pecos Water Treatment Plant. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits and requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering/public administration background and supervisory experience, managing schedules, budgets, and resources while using EAMS to plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Public Administration or related field.
• ADEQ Grade 2 Water or Wastewater Certification required for assignment.
• ADEQ Grade 1 certification in a second discipline within 1 year.
• 2 years of lead or supervisory experience; driving record acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant utilities operations, set goals and priorities.
• Monitor budget, schedule maintenance, inspect work, and plan equipment needs.
• Provide guidance, conduct interviews, and support hiring decisions.
• Utilize the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) for maintenance planning.
