Job summary
Danone USA is seeking an experienced Utilities Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical utility infrastructure at our West Jordan, Utah plant. You will oversee ammonia refrigeration, steam boilers, compressed air, electrical distribution, water treatment, HVAC, and related systems while guiding a team of mechanics.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- 5+ years in a utility-focused role (ammonia refrigeration, steam boilers, air compressors) required.
- 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience required.
- Experience with CMMS MVP, SAP, Maximo required.
- Supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations and maintenance of plant utility systems.
- Manage and develop a team of utility mechanics for a 24/7 operation.
- Drive reliability improvements through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Own maintenance systems including Breakdown Elimination, Defect Handling, and Planning & Scheduling.
- Analyze equipment performance, identify losses, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support capital projects, equipment startups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance leadership to improve safety, quality, and equipment performance.
- Ensure environmental systems operate within permit requirements and company standards.
