Job summary

Owens Corning Foundation is hiring a Training Specialist for their Joplin Plant. This role champions the training process, partnering with plant leadership to execute effective Training and Development plans. Responsibilities include conducting classroom and hands-on training for new hires, managing training records, and assessing training effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. A minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of plant manufacturing processes and safety requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and hands-on training for new hires.
• Create and manage training binders and training records.
• Assess program effectiveness and identify training needs.
