POET in Coon Rapids, IA is seeking a Plant Technician to operate and maintain plant processing equipment in a highly automated facility. The role requires 12-hour shifts and on-site presence, with responsibilities spanning equipment operation, basic electrical troubleshooting, QA/QC sampling, and adherence to SOPs.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with progression through Technician levels and experience in production environments preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Plant Technician I: production experience preferred.
• Plant Technician II: progression from I or equivalent.
• Plant Technician III: proficiency in listed skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant processing equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs and document activities.
• Operate the DCS for the plant and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Collect QA/QC samples, interpret results, and adjust operations.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Participate in start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and batching procedures.
