Job summary

POET in Leipsic, OH is looking for a Plant Technician to operate and maintain all plant processing equipment in a highly automated facility. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with basic repairs, and ensure safety and quality throughout the bioprocessing lines.

The role requires adapting to 12-hour shifts and meeting call-in requirements on-site. Responsibilities include operating the DCS, recording logs, and supporting preventive maintenance, with opportunities to work across multiple

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plant Technician I: production experience preferred.
• Plant Technician II: proven performance as Technician I or equivalent.
• Plant Technician III: proficiency per skills checklist.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant processing equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs; document activities.
• Operate the DCS for plant operations and monitor equipment.
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting; follow SOPs for startup/shutdown.
