Job summary

Luminant Power LLC in Dayville, CT is seeking a Plant Technician 3 to perform operations functions, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper functioning of gas plant equipment on site. You will work under site management to promote safe, reliable operation.

Key duties include troubleshooting, daily maintenance, calibration, and installing/removing equipment. A high school diploma, 4–6 years experience, and relevant licenses may be required to advance through Tier 3 training.

Qualifications

• 4 -6 years related experience.
• If applicable, candidate will hold the required level of state license.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting and documentation, and assists in the resolution of problems discovered on shift.
• Performs daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.
• Develops and implements plant operating procedures.
• Understands relationship of equipment to plant systems.
• Ensures strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures.
