Job summary

Luminant Power LLC in Dayville, CT is seeking a Plant Technician 3 to perform operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on gas plant equipment. The role supports safe, reliable operation under site management guidance and adheres to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years related experience.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• If applicable, required state license (MA, OH).
• Demonstrate computer-based skills.
• Effective oral & verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in primary skill required of position.
• Performs troubleshooting and documentation, and assists in resolution of problems on shift.
• Performs daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.
• Decides and recommends repair techniques for plant equipment to peers or supervisors.
• Conducts excitation system inspections and preventive maintenance.
