Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Plant Supply Chain Manager in Tennessee to drive continuous improvement across supply chain metrics and customer satisfaction within assigned plants.

The role focuses on process ownership of IMS, safety culture, and collaboration with purchasing to lower costs while improving service levels. Strong Lean/APICS-CPIM knowledge and data analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in supply chain.
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles and APICS-CPIM.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve supply-chain metrics and customer satisfaction in the plants under responsibility.
  • Promote safety culture in the area of responsibilities.
  • Define supply-chain schemes for new flows.
  • As process owner, manage IMS process: KPIs, reviews, CAPA, and resource provision.
  • Monitor logistics costs, inventory levels, and customer forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to improve service levels and reduce costs.
  • Contribute to development and rollout of standards and training programs.

Main Missions

Continuously improve the supply-chain metrics and the satisfaction of customers in the plants under his responsibility

Promotes safety culture in its area of responsibilities

Participates to the definition of supply-chain schemes for new flows

As process owner, is accountable for the IMS process management (process review, KPIs management, procedure periodic review and update, corrective and preventive actions implementations as needed and resources provision for process realization) taking into consideration relevant requirements and its evolution

Number of accident and near misses related to logistics operations

Customer service rate, missed cars

Inventory level (lead time and/or stock coverage)

Logistics costs (incl premium transport costs and transportation filling rate)

COGI, inventory adjustments

Customer forecast accuracy, adherence to broadcast window

First time good EDI integration, booking in, good stock transfer and shipping

Acitivites

Supply Chain Continuous Improvement

Maintains focus on Supply Chain performance indicators and on the related reporting systems

Defines the progress plan, in line with the objectives of the plant/division. Follow up its implementation in plants. Coordinate the support from central functions when needed

Ensures the correct use of SCOOP supply chain functionalities in the plant. Own improvement actions plans.

Establishes a capacity planning control tower to optimize the usage of installed injection and painting capacities.

In relation with purchasing, develops collaborative approaches with suppliers to improve service levels while reducing costs and inventory levels.

Contributes to the attraction, development and retention of skills. Anticipate future needs, propose training plans and organization évolutions.

Actively participates to the divisional supply chain network

Contributes to the development and rollout of standards and training programs

Maintains a working relationship with supply chain counterparts at customers and suppliers, in relation with the sales and purchasing departments

Participates to the definition of supply chain schemes for the new programs (OPTIMAP) or new plants (OPTIPRO)
