Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Site Automation Engineer for its Anderson, SC facility to lead PLC and robotics maintenance, implement improvements, and ensure uptime.

You will coordinate technical activities, train staff, and work in a cross-functional team to meet safety and quality standards. This role requires an engineering degree and excellent English communication; the successful candidate will contribute to the 4.0 factory initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree required, industrial preferred.
  • Strong English communication (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and capital equipment installation.
  • Ability to communicate with all management levels.
  • Safety-minded and a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor quality levels and root causes; correct maintenance non-conformances.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate continuous improvement plans.
  • Coordinate all technical activity and maintain records for PLC equipment.
  • Train maintenance staff to maintain automation, PLCs, and robots.
  • Provide regular progress reports on project timelines.
  • Lead and support maintenance staff to meet uptime goals.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
