Job summary

XNRGY Climate Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plant Supplier Quality Engineer to protect production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on monitoring supplier performance, leading containment activities, and driving corrective actions to prevent line stoppages.

You will work with cross-functional teams to mitigate supplier risks, manage NCRs, and implement robust preventive actions. This position requires a degree in engineering and several years of supplier quality experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in supplier quality within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with supplier non-conformance and corrective action management.
Ability to lead containment activities and mitigate production line stoppage risks.
Strong knowledge of structured problem‑solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis).
Working knowledge of core quality tools (SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans).

Responsibilities

Monitor daily supplier quality performance and dashboards; track PPM, line disruptions, and defects.
Lead containment activities and coordinate sorting, rework, and material segregation to protect production.
Issue, manage, and track supplier NCRs and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Identify high‑risk suppliers and develop mitigation plans to prevent production interruptions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Supplier Quality to resolve issues.
