Job summary

Quikrete in Dallas GA is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee ready-mix concrete plant operations, ensuring equipment, materials, and production meet client needs. You will lead safety initiatives, supervise staff, and coordinate daily production and deliveries with the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities include scheduling, payroll/timekeeping, maintenance oversight, and driving on-time service while maintaining plant cleanliness and capacity.

Qualifications

• Must have strong safety leadership and enforce proper equipment use.
• Experience supervising plant staff and managing performance.
• Ability to coordinate operations with managers and crews.
• Solid understanding of batch processes and material quality control.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety efforts, including meetings and enforcing proper equipment use.
• Ensures batching accuracy and monitors material quality.
• Coordinates operations with Area Operations Manager.
• Supervises plant staff and supports hiring and performance management.
• Maintains accurate payroll/timekeeping records.
• Monitors delivery timing and works with mixer operators for on-time service.
• Oversees equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures plant operates at target capacity.
• Maintains overall plant cleanliness and organization.
