Job summary

PTC is seeking a plant supervisor in Fairbury, IL to oversee the shift, ensure safety and quality, and drive production targets. You will lead a team of 25–60 workers, enforce rules, and coordinate with maintenance and QA to optimize performance.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience supervising 25–60 direct reports in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the plant on the given shift and supervise employees.
• Enforce safety, quality, and production standards and procedures.
• Monitor production metrics and labor efficiency; adjust as needed.
• Investigate accidents and report findings to management.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime.
