Job summary

Nexus Circular is seeking a knowledgeable Shift Supervisor to oversee a production shift at our manufacturing plant. You will lead a team of operators, ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support onboarding and training of new staff on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of production operators to meet targets and quality standards.
• Oversee shift performance: productivity, quality, and safety compliance.
• Set daily production goals and priorities and communicate these to the team.
• Monitor processes and drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Maintain accurate shift reports, logs, and inventory records.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Assist in onboarding new team members and training.
• Participate in plant emergency response procedures.
