Ag Processing Inc is seeking a Plant Shift Supervisor for our Hastings, NE soy processing facility. The role oversees day-to-day operations, trains employees, enforces policies, and ensures quality standards are met.

You will supervise plant workers, manage scheduling, monitor inventory, and participate in meetings. The position requires a high school diploma (technical degree preferred) and a collaborative, safety-focused approach.

The person in this role will assist with the day-to-day operations through providing management support throughout the plant. The shift supervisor will also assist with training employees, enforcing company policies and procedures, and will ensure that quality standards are being met.**Responsibilities:*** Provide management support through supervising the plant workers' activities including training employees, determining methods for employee work, and scheduling.* Monitor and maintain processing supply inventory through completing orders of supplies and documenting amount of supplies on hand.* Enforce company policies and procedures.* Develop and manage projects as assigned.* Attend company meetings.* Perform other duties as assigned by management.**Requirements:*** Experience in supervising employees through training and motivating.* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Experience using computers and other office equipment.* Capable of sound decision making.* Great team player and takes initiative.* Mechanically savvy* Safety conscientious.* Highly organized and strong attention to detail.* Capable of working with diverse group of individuals.* Knowledge of hazard communication standards and PSM, preferred.* Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.* Willing to work day, night and every other weekend on rotating 12 hour shift.* Supervisory Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.* Minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required.
