Airgas in Columbia, SC is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and repackaging of compressed and liquid gases into cylinders. You will lead operators, enforce SOPs, and maintain essential production records.

Required leadership experience in distribution and strong safety focus; SAP and MS Office skills are preferred. Benefits include a referral bonus, comprehensive family coverage, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or technical degree/certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role within a distribution environment preferred; gas lab exp a plus.
• Prior SAP experience preferred and strong MS Office skills.

Responsabilités

• Support and maintain plant operations in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
• Maintain compliance with company safety bulletins.
• Operate equipment used in repackaging and analyzing compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders per SOPs.
• Maintain reports and training records for the production facility.
• Guide plant employees to meet customer needs and follow SOPs.
